In a switch from Saturday morning, Colorado Master Gardeners staged their first-ever, weekday Garden Line 9 show at Denver's Channel 9 TV. This show attracted the most viewer calls of any helpline show ever staged during the Friday afternoon news. The daytime producer instantly requested that CMG's come back. Connie Rayor, Bob Martin, Jeanne Najar, Patti O'Neal and Marilyn Moore answered calls. Additional CMG's are encouraged to join future shows.

| A special part of the show
was two live interviews with CMG Sherrie McGee about container water gardening. Sherrie
took charge of purchasing materials and bringing them to the studio for the segment filmed
outside near the Kuster garden. She was interviewed twice and viewers were refered to her
sketch posted on the Nine webpage. Sherrie showed great poise and seemed to be a natural
