Hornwort (Marestail) Ceratophylum demersum. Dark green, non rooting plant that doesn't float or sink -- just settles in the water. Provides an area for fish spawning. Hardy in zones 8-10.

cabomba  (22498 bytes) Cabomba Dark green bristles on thin stems. Flowers mid to late summer are white with yellow centers. Hardy zones 6-10

anacharis (16783 bytes) Anacharis Elodea canadensis. Narrow, dark green curved leaflets. Long branching stems. Dietary supplement for fish. Hardy in zones 5-10
