Golden Currant is a deciduous shrub growing 6 to 8 ft. in height and 8 to10 ft. in
width. Prefers full sun and has low water needs; drought tolerant when established. Leaves
are deeply three-lobed, turning shades of red to purple in fall. There are yellow showy
flowers in spring, resembling forsythia. Edible berries are large; red turning to black.
