Class: Floribunda

Habit: The upright, rounded, bush grows 3 ½ feet by 3 feet. Because of its vigor and strength, Eureka makes a great addition to any landscape. Planted in groups of three or five, it offers an anchor for a border, a centerpiece or an accent area. It can be also used as a bedding rose–the traditional role of Floribundas.

Disease Resistance: Excellent

Color: Unique yellow flower with golden centerpiece. Some see Eureka as a beautiful old-fashioned bloom of rich copper-apricot.

Bloom: Pointed oval buds, rested upon dark green glossy foliage, open to reveal four-inch blooms with a petal count of 25 to 30.

Fragrance: Light

Hybridizer: The Kordes Company hybridized Eureka.

Parentage: A combination of Bernstein Rose and Sun Flare.

Introducer: Eureka is introduced by Jackson & Perkins Wholesale.

Availability: Eureka will be available online, through mail order catalogs and at garden centers, nurseries, home centers and mass merchandisers during the 2003-planting season.
