Everyone smiles as they drift past the flowers known as Marmalade Skies. An amazing and ever present show of color will make you think you must be dreaming, but Marmalade Skies is for real. This compact blooming machine makes the perfect hedge or a dependable producer in the cutting garden, bearing an entire bouquet on each stem.

Class:  Floribunda

Habit: The compact, round bushy plant grows to 3 feet by 3 feet.

Color: Brilliant tangerine orange blooms engulf Marmalade Skies from beginning to end of the blooming season. Healthy, medium olive green satiny foliage provides the perfect backdrop for the constant show of color.

Bloom: Marmalade Skies produces clusters of 5 to 8 blooms on each strong stem. Oblong buds open to reveal 2½ -to-3-inch double blooms with 17 to 25 petals.

Hybridizer: The famed French House of Meilland hybridized Marmalade Skies.

Parentage: A combination of Tamango, Parador and Patricia.

Introducer: Marmalade Skies is introduced in the United States by the Conard-Pyle Company.

Availability: Marmalade Skies will be available through mail order catalogs and at garden centers, nurseries, home centers and mass merchandisers in time for the 2001 planting season.
