Class: Floribunda
Habit: The upright, rounded bush grows to 3 feet by 3 feet. Because of its vigor
and strength, Day Breaker makes a great addition to any landscape. Planted in groups of
three to five, it provides an anchor for a border, a centerpiece or an accent area. It
also can be planted as a bedding rosethe traditional use of Floribundas.
Disease Resistance: Very good
Color: Yellow blending to pink and apricot blooms nestle among dark green glossy
foliage.
Bloom: Pointed and shapely buds open to reveal four-inch blooms with a petal count
of 30 to 35.
Fragrance: Moderate Tea
Hybridizer: Gareth Fryer hybridized Day Breaker. This is his second AARS winner.
His first was Sunset Celebration.
Parentage: A combination of Silver Jubilee and (Pensioners Voice and Cheshire Life)
Introducer: Day Breaker is introduced by Edmunds
Roses.
Availability: Day Breaker will be available online, through mail order catalogs and
at garden centers, nurseries, home centers and mass merchandisers during the 2004 planting
